Self defense & Mindfulness yoga

More than a physical workout, yoga is a full mind and body exercise. A complete yoga workout can help keep our back and joints healthy, improve our overall posture, stretch and strengthen muscles and improve our balance.

At Lake View Public School yoga turns physical exercises into tools to help students become more mindful and even learn to meditate. Breathing exercises not only help our students to stay focused while practicing yoga, they can also help reduce stress and relax the nervous system and calm the mind. It also improves lung capacity and immunity, mindfulness activities, and games based on concentration, balance, and relaxation.
